Can you feel the love?
It’s all about love for me this month, admittedly not only because of a recent visit to the amazing Festival of Love at the Southbank Centre but also because of my upcoming wedding with Tom… Endless songs, stories and paintings have been made in the name of love; and yet we will never understand it’s true workings… Right. Well, let’s at least give it a go. This list of my (ok, not mine but Tom’s) favourite literature on the utterly extraordinary subject matter is compiled with -and of course full of- love. Cringing allowed:
1. A General Theory of Love
2 Socrates in Love by Christopher Philips
3 Love a History by Simon May
4 Love’s Philosophy by Richard White
5 On Love by Luc Ferry
6 Conditions of Love by John Armstrong
