What do you do?
Songbird Sessions are professional vocalists and solo singers in their own right and have collaborated to form a unique vocal services company. They provide top class entertainment for bespoke events in the corporate field and are also available for sessions; studio and live, radio, television and film. We work with record labels as support/demo vocalists as well as vocal coaching, running workshops and masterclasses.
Tell us about the best workshop you’ve ever facilitated?
We have such fun providing workshops for Antidote. The people are wonderful and it is so exciting for us to share our love of music and harmony with such a willing and engaging audience. We have also been lucky enough to lead choirs at events at The Royal Festival Hall, for the Katy Piper Foundation and for other corporate organisations.
What do you most enjoy doing?
Singing is our love, our passion and our day job so we are truly blessed!
What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That one of our members is in The Lion King.
Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?
Meeting Stevie Wonder at Hyde Park Festival last year. It was an absolutely inspiring and humbling moment to have met and spoken to such a legend.
Who do you admire?
Women in business. Our mothers.
What’s your most embarrassing moment?
There have been plenty on stage – falling over, forgetting lyrics… the list goes on!
What superpower would you have and why?
The Power to rewind and stop time as we never seem to have enough of it to do all the things we want to do as quickly as we want to do them.
What wouldn’t you do without?
Our phones because we wouldn’t be able to talk to each other about how we’re going to dominate the world!
