English Folk Singing Workshop

Effervescent Yvette, English folk singing expert and one of the beloved star of Tribe Of Doris believes that EVERYONE can sing! We can all do it. Sometimes we just need a little encouragement. Yvette’s teaching style is totally inclusive, no word sheets or music, just watch, listen and copy – simples!

Lots of harmony, lots of laughter and maybe a few tears.

Trained as a Natural Voice practitioner who leads workshops and her own ‘Voice of The People’ community choirs in Somerset and beyond, Yvette is also a Research Fellow at Bournemouth University, researching and lecturing on English folk song.

Yvette’s warmth and playfulness will be sure to encourage even the shyest of voices.
